Abstract
The study was carried out to observe some aspects of prevalence of athereogenic lipoprotein phenotype among the obese medical students in sylhet from 1 st July 2008 to 30 th June 2009 by cross-sectional study. 100 obese students were randomly selected from 177 obese students for prevalence of atherogenic lipoprotein pherotype. For Athereogenic lipoprotein phenotype lipid profile Apo-B & small dense LDL were entionated. The prevalence of Athereogenic lipoprotein phenotype among the obese students was 16% In male & female the prevalence of athereogenic lipoprotein phenotype were 14.63% & 16.95% respectively.
