The collected samples were grouped into A (11-25) years, B (26-40) years & C (41-80) years. 3 slides from group A, 4 slides from group B and 3 slides from group C were randomly selected. Thus in total 30 fields of 10 slides from 10 different kidneys were examined. The difference in average number of renal corpuscle/sq. mm was found to be maximum between groups C and A and minimum between A and B. Number of renal corpuscle become considerably changed with age especially after 40 years.
