Results: The findings of FNAC showed effective role in the diagnosis of breast lumps. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy were 92.31%, 97.50%, 97.30%, 92.86% and 94.94% respectively.
Conclusion: This study was mostly consistent with others published in the literature. FNAC is a valuable investigation in patient with palpable breast lesions.
