Laryngeal Carcinoma in a 14 Years Old Girl

Abstract
Malignant tumors of the larynx are rare in children and adolescents. Usually, these patients are diagnosed in the late stages. Numerous factors contribute towards a late diagnosis of laryngeal malignancy in childhood. The treatment of laryngeal carcinoma is still a challenge due to the lack of available guidelines among pediatric patients. In this article, we report a case of a 14-year-old girl who presented with complaints of change in voice and was found to have squamous cell carcinoma of the vocal cord on evaluation.
