Abstract
Psychiatric morbidity is increasing day by day. To find out the psychiatric morbidity and socio-demographic pattern, present study was carried out in the Psychiatry outpatient department of North East Medical College Hospital. 175 patients were included in this study, among them 127 were female. Most of the patients were married and came from rural areas. Anxiety disorder (20.5%) was the commonest diagnosis, which was followed by Migraine (18.3%), Schizophrenia (14.3%) and BMD (12.3%).
