Abstract
Incidence and prevalence of ESRD continue to increase worldwide. We analyzed patients suffering from ESRD from April, 03 to April, 02. 162 patients were included in our project who were on maintenance haemodialysis. 43.21% patients dropped out, 33.33% patients were on MHD and 15.43% patients died. Survival of the patients after 12 months, 18 months and 24 months was 15.43%, 13.58% and 16.67% respectively. Major causes of ESRD were chronic renal failure with hypertension (38.9%), CRF with Diabetes mellitus (25.3%).
