Abstract

Introduction: The incidence of colorectal cancer exhibits significant geographical diversity. The disease pattern in developing nations contrasts with that of developed countries, largely due to a higher proportion of patients presenting at advanced stages.

The majority of patients fall into Stage III (32.0%) and Stage IV (38.0%). Surgery as a stand alone treatment modality is utilized in 20% of patients, chemotherapy in 13.3 % and radiation in 6.7% respectively.
