Abstract
Covid-19 is the most memorable pandemic of 21st Century, Till today corona virus is affecting people all over the world and its fatality is also evident. Serum Ferritin C-reactive protein and D-dimer (features of hyper inflammation) play beneficial role for risk stratification in Covid-19 patients. This study was aimed to estimate biochemical parameters such as serum ferritin, C-reactive protein and D-dimer in Covid-19 Patient. The Study population was selected from the recorded data of patients being admitted in Sylhet Sadar Hospital and North East Medical College during the period of 2020-2021 with the clinical sign-symptom and positive RT-PCR and co-morbidity factors (DM, HTN, COPD). Data of total 50 patients of 25-85 years age range were selected for the study. Serum Ferritin, C-reactive protein were elevated in all patients. Among them elevated D-dimer value had the fatal outcome.
Key Words: Covid-19, Serum Ferritin, C-reactive protein, D-dimer.
