A 35-year-old village shopkeeper complained of swelling of right wrist and mild pain which was tolerable for 3 months. One fine morning he was a bit excited for some reason and made challenging blow on the table. Since then the pain had become intolerable for which he was adviced by local doctor to seek specialist’s opinion. Accordingly the gentleman came over to Sylhet town and attended the private chamber of an Orthopedic specialist. The right wrist joint was radiologically evaluated and found to have a pathological fracture through a cystic wall. The radiological appearance was soap bubble-like which is typical of a Giant Cell Tumor. He was admitted to North East Medical College Hospital for further work up, investigations and treatment.
